According to our opinion, it is the most effective procedure to stabilize MP joints and avoid MP hyperextension. However, this “myo-tenodesis” is performed with paralysed FDS muscle. Consequently, this procedure works only if the FDS muscle has retained its viscosity and elasticity. It does not work when injured metamere of spinal cord is large.
